Each applicant is reviewed individually. Leadership, motivation, academic improvement, the level of the high school program’s difficulty, involvement in activities and potential for growth are important considerations in the application process.

All transcripts, letters of recommendation and other supporting documentation must be submitted before the deadlines. A late application fee of €100 or $125 will be applied after the deadlines in lieu of the regular €50 or $62 application fee.

Home Schooled Students
Home schooled students follow the regular application process, however the following is also required:
• Transcripts of all home schooled work and details on the home schooling format (correspondence-based or parent/student based)
• Official college transcripts (if applicable)
• One academic recommendation

Transfer Students
The Norway University welcomes transfer students. Students with an equivalent of sixty semester credit hours of transfer credits may seek a waiver for high school transcript requirement. Upon receipt of complete official transcripts from all colleges and universities previously attended, the University shall determine the number of transfer credits to be accepted toward fulfilling the requirements for a degree at The Norway University. Transfer credits may be applied to satisfy the 42-credit General Education requirement, up to 50% of the requirements for major and up to 18 credits of free electives.

English Language Proficiency
Applicants whose native language is not English are required to submit scores from TOEFL or another English language proficiency exam. The language proficiency exam requirement may be waived for applicants who complete high school at English-speaking institutions.

Audit
Non-degree students may register to audit a course at Norway University Students does not earn college credit for audited courses.

Submit the application form along with the application fee and a 200-500 word personal statement in which the candidate indicates his or her reasons for choosing to study at Norway University.

Qualifications Required

Certificate Programs:
In order for a prospective candidate to be eligible for the entry to any of the Norway UNIVERSITY certificate level programs, the student must possess any one of the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Mature student of 21 years and above with English language proficiency.
• Mature student of 19 years with at least 2 years working experience.

Bachelor's Degree Programs:
In order for a prospective candidate to be eligible for the entry to any of the Norway UNIVERSITY Bachelor's degree programs, the student must possess any of the following qualifications:
• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Mature student of 21 years and above with English language proficiency.
• Mature student of 19 years with at least 2 years working experience.

Graduation Requirements:
The Bachelor's degree is earned upon the successful completion of 120 units, 32 of which should be from the area of concentration.

Master's Degree Programs:
In order for a prospective candidate to be eligible for the entry to any of Norway University Master's Degree programs, the student must possess any one of the following qualifications:
• Bachelor's or its equivalent
• College diploma with at least 3 years of managerial or supervisory working experience in the given field. The Norway University requires that all students enrolling in a postgraduate degree program must possess a Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution of higher education. On special occasions the University may accept life, education and work experiences of an individual as equivalent to a first degree.

Graduation Requirements:
The Master degree is earned upon the successful completion of 44 units above the bachelor degree.

Doctorate Programs:

In order for a prospective candidate to be eligible for the entry to any of the Norway University Doctorate degree programs, the student must possess any one of the following qualifications:

• Master's or its equivalent. The Norway University requires that all students enrolling in a postgraduate doctorate degree program must possess a Master's Degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution of higher education. On special occasions the University may accept life, education and work experiences of an individual as equivalent to a first degree.

Graduation Requirements:
The doctorate is earned upon the successful completion of 44 units above the Master's degree. Doctorate scholars are also required to write and present a dissertation, which will carry 12 out of the 44 units. The dissertation may be either classical/theoretical or applied/work based.
