Graduate Certificate in Educational Management Courses

Graduate Certificate in Management of Educational Corporations/Corporate Training Divisions

For students who wish to specialize in management of educational corporations/corporate training divisions without completing the entire MBA degree program, a certificate option is available. Those who have been admitted must inform the center director of their intent to pursue the certificate and are eligible to receive this certificate upon:
 

  • successfully completing:
AC505 Managerial Accounting
EM510 Curriculum Design and Instructional Delivery
EM512 Program Assessment and Evaluation
EM514 Technology in Education
EM517 Practices of High-Performing Educational Management Organizations/Corporate Training Divisions
EM520 Supervision and Evaluation of Educational Personnel, Facilities and Support Services
EM531 Governmental Regulations in Proprietary Education
FI515 Managerial Finance
GM520 Legal, Political and Ethical Dimensions of Business
 
  • satisfying all course prerequisites through practical experience or related coursework
  • achieving a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.00 in the courses indicated above
  • resolving all financial obligations to the School

MBA students interested in earning the graduate certificate may do so by completing the above requirements as part of their MBA coursework.

Graduate certificate requirements may be satisfied through a maximum of three semester-credit hours of transfer credit, course waivers or course exemptions. A course may be applied to one graduate certificate only.

Graduate Certificate in Management of Public and Private Educational Systems

This graduate certificate is designed for MBA students who wish to specialize in management of public and private  educational systems. Those who have been admitted must inform the center dean of their intent to pursue the certificate and are eligible to receive this certificate upon:

  • successfully completing:

EM601 Educational Management Practicum
