M.S. in Education
The M.S. in Education program is designed to develop educators serving students in classrooms as scholar-practitioners.
The program teaches advanced skills that are designed to improve student learning. Each specialization area encourages educators to put their new skills to the test in actual classroom and school settings and to continually challenge the results of teaching and learning.
The M.S. in Education has a semester-based curriculum and, therefore, has a different academic calendar and procedures than the university’s quarter-based curricula.
Doctor of Education (Ed.D.)
Norway’s Ed.D. program has two specializations—Teacher Leadership and Administrator Leadership for Teaching and Learning. Both are semester-based programs designed for educators who want to continue their practice while assuming leadership roles in their schools and communities.
Ph.D. in Education
The Ph.D. in Education program produces leaders who can address the nation’s most pressing educational challenges. Each of the specializations is designed to match your professional interests and meet the needs of your organization. In fact, it requires educators to come to the program with defined learning goals, and challenges them to design their own program of study.
